This single vineyard, single clone Pinot Noir showcases a beautiful garnet stone hue. On the nose, there is a burst of sweet, caramelized crème brûlée with a bouquet of honey, strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry. As the wine opens aromatic floral are expressed with the essence of rose pedal. On the mid-palate, there are subtle tannins, soft minerality, cranberry and herbaceous notes. This balanced wine is enhanced with mild toast, a hint of watermelon, baking spice and fresh plum. As you let the wine sit on your palate, crushed rock and molasses are expressed on the finish. Aged in 1- and 2-year-old French oak barrels. This vintage highlights the Leras Vineyard grapes with boosted acidity in an old-world Burgundian style.
